McClenaghan Leads the Irish in Doha

Reigning European Pommel Horse champion, Rhus McClenaghan leads the Irish team that will take part in the 48th Artistic World Championships in Doha, State of Qatar (25th October – 3rd November 2018).  In august, The 19 years old gymnast from Antrim secured his country’s first ever medal in a major competition, by placing himself on the top of the podium at the 2nd European Games in Glasgow, Scotland.

McClenaghan will be joined by Adam Steele and Andrew Smith, as well as Meaghan Smith who will participate in the women’s competition. Sally Johnson of Gymnastics Ireland is the head of delegation.
