Al Shaqab is gearing up to present one of the most prestigious events on the international equestrian calendar, according to the Al Shaqab 2019 website. Spectators and competitors can look forward to an outstanding equine experience in terms of skill, style and class, unparalleled in Asia – three days of Jumping, Dressage and Para Dressage, as the best national and international horses and riders compete with one another for coveted titles. ProTV is the official Technical Production Services provider for the event.

In equestrian sports, CHI (“Concours Hippique International” or Equestrian International Competition) is a title of nobility, something exceptional that does not come easy. Organizers of major equestrian events covet this title and riders participating at the CHI events compete fiercely to win. CHI AL SHAQAB is the first equestrian competition of its kind in the Middle East and Asia to be sanctioned by the FEI (Fédération Equestre Internationale or International Equestrian Federation) and one of only five CHI events in the world.

CHI AL SHAQAB 2019, will feature three Olympic equestrian disciplines over a period of three days. This includes Show Jumping, Dressage and Para Dressage. In addition, CHI AL SHAQAB 2019 will also include a festival area with a food court, coffee corners, an entertainment zone with interactive videos and virtual reality games, F1 and horse simulators and pony rides.
